P8 Magic Render – The TECHNICAL DataA New and revolutionary way to finish your pond and surrounding area……….. The Description P8 is a two pack rendering compound containing a blend of polymers, aggregate and blocking additives. It is easy to mix but does require a competent pond builder to apply. P8 can be applied to as little as 5mm in thickness to provide an extraordinary tough, highly durable render with water impermeability. It adheres to your block work and makes your pond structurally even stronger than conventional methods. Not only that but it produces properties such as chemical resistance, resistance against cracking, impact resistance and abrasive resistance. The speed of laying is second to none and can receive our P1 Coating in 48 hours subject to temperature. The Uses
The Packaging 25kg Bags only The Coverage 25kg will do approximately 3sq mts according to the quantity of your block work and plastering ability. The Instructions Preparation – Surface must be clean and dry and the joints in the block work should be flush. Remove all loose material. Application – Trowel on using a steel float to produce a compact smooth surface to a minimum depth of 5mm. Always clean your tools between mixes to eliminate contamination. (don’t forget your drill paddle). Coverage depends on the substrate (surface to be covered) – but factory tests show 25kg will cover approximately 3sq mtrs. When to apply a top coat: - As soon as the render is cured brush off any loose particles from the render and then apply 2 coats of P1. The Cleaning Do not allow P8 to set on your tools. Clean regularly in water. So long as the procedure is followed between mixes so tools can be re-used.
