P3 Water Stop – The TECHNICAL Data

The Description

P3 Water Stop is a blend of cement, polymers and graded aggregates. The difference of our P3 product from other cement compounds is that it will set in 60 seconds at 20 degrees C.

This makes P3 ideal for stopping leaks in ponds and water falls and will allow you to carry  out more definite repairs when dry conditions are necessary. P3 is compatible with any concrete base and will allow an overcoat of P6 Pondalite and or P1.

Instructions for Use

Take a gloved handful of P3 powder and rub on to the area where the leak is occurring. For a more vigorous leak hold the powder over the area until the P3 sets. You will probably feel the powder heating up in your hand as it sets, this is perfectly natural. Apply product as necessary until the leak is stopped.

It is possible to mix the powder with a small amount of water first to form a paste, but if used like this speed is required in applying before it sets.

Please note P3 Water Stop is not enough on its own. Therefore consideration of the pond structure is needed and re-tanking the pond should be the next course of action taken.

The Cleaning

Tools should not be left after use, they should be cleaned as soon as possible after use with water and detergent.

The Storage

Store in a cool dry, frost free place in the original container.

Shelf life – 12 months in the above conditions.
